Miss Fry's resignation letter

Miss Fry's resignation For text see below

Rochwitz bei Dresden
July13th 1914.

Dear Dr. Smith,
I very much regret to say that I am obliged to resign my secretaryship of the York Symphony Orchestra, as I shall no longer be living in York. Needless to say, I had no idea of leaving York when I undertook the post.
Would you kindly convey to the members of the committee my most sincere regrets at deserting them at this unusually difficult time. I hope they may find a more efficient secretary to take my place. I also hope the season will be most successful in spite of the difficulties that have arisen.
Yours sincerely,
D.L.Fry.
