Dear Mr. Cooper
Many thanks for your letter to hand this morning, and I am very sorry that my connection with the York Symphony Orchestra is to prove such a short one; but I can quite understand the difficulties which confront the committee. -
I am deeply grateful to the Committee for its kind expresion of appreciation of my services, and I am only too sorry that the link must be severed. -
With many thanks + kind regards
I am
Yours sincerely
F. Kilvington Hattersley. -
P.S. If you can kindly at your convenience let me have sometime the score + parts of my Symphony I shall be much obliged. -
